Do look at the Gallery page
before adding alerts to see
examples of how it is done
best including combining
multiple alerts to fit on one
band
Do know that we have 3 lines to use for alerts outside the yellow rectangle. If longwords are used, even if within 30 characters, we might need to rephrase the alert to ensure it is visible.
Do use area codes and
check to make sure
names/numbers/alerts fit
within the character limit.
Do specify at checkout via
notes’ if the person wearing
the band has a wrist size
larger than an average adult
(>8.5 inches).
DON'Ts
Don't include a child's
name or address on the
band, it is against our policy;
see FAQ'S!
Dont choose a light color
band and add alerts to it
Unless you are okay with the background color darkened within the same color palette of the band so that the alert text visibly pops.
Dont use acronyms for
medical or special needs
issues that are not well
known
Dont choose a design
(i.e. trains or animals) and
add 2 lot of text outside the
box if you want to see
the design.
